First notice board of LIFE ENRICH installed in the pilot plant

An informative notice board has been installed in the LIFE ENRICH pilot plant, located in Murcia Este WWTP, in the EMUASA facilities. The main objective of this material is to disseminate the LIFE ENRICH project and the LIFE Programme to those visitors that, throughout the lifetime of the project, have first-hand contact with the pilot plant, including project stakeholders, students and technical audiences, among others.

The LIFE ENRICH pilot plant started recently after months of preparation. The main goal of the system developed within this project is to test an innovative treatment train integrating leading-edge technologies that will enable efficient recovery of both Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P) contained in the wastewater, as ammonium salts and struvite, respectively.

The notice board is an informative poster that exposes in an easy-to-understand language and in a visual way the context and the objectives of the project. The poster includes three main sections: “Which is LIFE ENRICH objective?”, “What is the pilot plant studying?” and “Which are the benefits of LIFE ENRICH?”, as well as an infographic that outlines the project context and details the processes carried out in the pilot plant.

Furthermore, a second notice board will be placed in a separated pilot plant, managed by IRTA, where the products obtained in the pilot plant in Murcia, after being blended to obtain suitable fertilizers, will be tested with selected crops.
