Recently, Futurenviro, a magazine focused on technical solutions for the environment, has published an article entitled “LIFE ENRICH. Recovery of nitrogen and phosphorous from wastewater for integration into the value chain”. This publication highlights expected benefits of the project and underlines the application of the circular economy in this context.
LIFE ENRICH aims to give a solution to the demand for Nitrogen and Phosphorus in agriculture uses, since these nutrients have a difficult industrial production. Therefore, the objective of its research is find out how to implement the circular economy in the wastewater treatment to recover the nutrients and use them as fertilizes.
